PV Cost Estimator & Systems Designer

Join our Solutions Team and help turn solar and battery storage opportunities into successful projects.

Combining technical expertise with commercial thinking, you will design, cost, and optimize PV and BESS solutions for commercial and industrial clients across the Czech and Slovak markets.

• Preparing cost calculations, budgets, and customer quotations for PV and BESS projects
• Creating bills of quantities for equipment, labor, and engineering services
• Requesting, evaluating, and comparing supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Maintaining and updating pricing databases and cost benchmarks
• Performing technical and economic assessments, including yield, self-consumption, and payback analyses
• Sizing battery storage systems based on customer consumption data
• Creating preliminary PV system designs and yield simulations in Helioscope, PV*SOL, and AutoCAD
• Preparing site and roof layouts using documentation, site surveys, and satellite data
• Supporting project documentation and coordinating with engineering partners
• Collaborating closely with Sales, Project Management, suppliers, and clients

• Minimum 2 years of experience in PV, electrical installations, construction, design, or cost estimation
• Good understanding of PV systems and battery storage technologies
• Experience with MS Excel, MS Office, AutoCAD, Helioscope, and/or PV*SOL
• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering (AC/DC, LV systems)
• Czech or Slovak language proficiency and communicative English
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Proactive, organized, and solution-oriented approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Active driver with a willingness to travel
