About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Engineer with an electrical background, who will initially play a key role in overseeing the construction of a new photovoltaic power plant in Sibiu, followed by providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure the continued performance and efficiency of the plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Close collaboration with our Head of Construction on the development of a new PV power plant, and working alongside construction project managers, subcontractors, and internal teams

  • Overseeing material deliveries, conducting quality checks, and managing stock reports

  • Efficiently organising site facilities for project location (geodetical survey, containers, guards) and coordinate civil works on sites (fencing, grass cutting etc.)

  • Resolving technical issues within PV power plants, ensuring problems are accurately identified and resolved

  • Overseeing technical challenges related to PV plant maintenance, offering support for troubleshooting and fault repairs

  • Collaborating with the Technical Manager to complete assigned tasks and ensure efficient problem-solving

  • Preparing work reports to document activities and outcomes

  • Contributing to maintain workplace health and safety standards as a part of internal efforts

  • Ensuring that service reports delivered to customers and clients meet both quality and contractual requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience as an Electrician or Electrical Engineer

  • ANRE II B certification is an advantage

  • Fluent Romanian language and English at a communicative level

  • An active driving license (B), with willingness to travel

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills

  • Great communication, organisational and timekeeping skills
